Description

A collaboration between mother and daughter. A locked door is a photographic project based on the semi-biographical short story by Sandie Neenan and I constructed the visuals to represent her emotional journey. This zine explores the tender, but volatile relationship of mother and daughter while undergoing the terrible hardship of separation, attempting to find closure for lost time and the joy of unconditional love.

A 20 page staple-bound zine, measuring 6” x 8” inches with a glossy cover.
